Does DSAN registration prove copyright ownership?
No. It documents the file, registration time and declarations. Ownership and licensing rights need independent evidence and, where appropriate, legal assessment.
Can anyone verify a DSAN ID?
Yes. Public registry lookup and approved public verification details remain free.
What happens when a membership is cancelled?
Existing registration records and their DSAN IDs remain. The plan calls for a one-time PDF delivery of historical registration documents and removal of access to historical QR analytics. This workflow is not activated yet.
Will my AI-generated images be recognized?
A registrant may declare an asset as AI-generated. DSAN stores the actual file type separately and does not claim to prove AI authorship automatically.
